Water Temperature & A/C compressor sensors

I have c1500 91' 350 , the temperature gauge is not working the cluster is fine , but i'm not sure where is the temperature sensor or which color the wires is ? Same problem with my compressor plug its missing ,

I have a 90 with the 5.7l. Without going out right now to look at the engine I believe my sensor wire is green. It's located on the driver's side of the engine

Ram is correct. The coolant temperature sensor for the gauge is in the drivers side head between #1 and #3.
