I removed the old man decals off my beater '96 but they left behind their imprints since the sun must have faded all the paint around them.
It is absolutely not glue residue because I went through 2 Eraser Wheels and a bunch of Goo Gone and WD40 to remove it.
I am wondering if there is any way to blend them so they are not so noticeable?

Would a simple claybarring help? Or if buffing it the only chance? Thanks all.

Clay first. 2500 grit. Compound. Polish. Protect.

Thats your best bet, but i had a similar problem on my pasenger door and it just would not come out. I even burned through the clear in a spot sanding and it didnt go away.
