Underseat speaker box help

I have a 98 extended cab. Will an underseat box made for 99-06 work in my truck? Getting a very good deal on it so I need an answer ASAP. Between the pics of an 88-98 and the 99-06 they look similar. 99-06 maybe a little taller in the front?

it should fit but will probably stick out more. i had a JL stealth box for a 99-06 under my seat in my 96 but it stuck out about 5-6".
