got the truck tuned up. went ahead and done a full tune up. now the truck is missing like hell. what did i do wrong? its not crosswired as i checked that 50 billion times lol. im lost

i didnt do the intake gaskets yet. and idk how to check the timing. i didnt mess with the timing just put new rotor button, dizzy cap, plugs and wires on.

do you have a timing light? if not, you can buy them for like $50.

i aint got $50 to spend now lol. i didnt move the dizzy any, definitly not enough to make it out of time. i had to wiggle the rotor button to get it off but i was watching the teeth to make sure they didnt move. and they didnt move more than a hare.

What all did you replace with your tune-up, something you did is wrong or your unplugged another sensor or something? If just plugs, wire, cap and rotor and nothing else wrong I would dare to suspect you do have the wires mixed up.

could it possibly be a coil? if its not coil at this point with everything youve replaced, its kinda narrowed down to timing.

i was thinking that the previous owner might have.

another thought, double check you got the firing order right.

did you gap the plugs? it is new wires ? is wires on dist. good and on each plug all the way

you are doing .... 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2
1,3,5,7 is on the left bank(driver side) and 2,4,6,8 is on the right bank. The distributor rotates clockwise.
