Truck is missing and popping. HELP PLZ!

thanks to both of yall! hopeing tax return comes in tomarow so i can get this thing fix and stop driving my moms isuzu rodeo haha. i hate that thing! any thing else i should check while im working on it? also why isnt my gauge reading normal when i know the motor is getting hot? when i was working on it today the upper rad hose was really hot like it should be.

make sure the PO didnt install the thermostat upside down and get an OE thermostat.

honestly, any 195* will work i think, ive used ones that have came out of BBC's before.

No idea man, but my thermostat was upside down and the truck was cold, ran like a bag of **** and guzzled gas.

Not meaning to hijack, if the temp sensor is buggered, would this make the truck run like shat???
