I also noticed OP has an aluminum driveshaft...
I don't know enough about these older GMT 400s to know when the AL. driveshafts came out. Maybe it's stock? I want to say those came out later just by hanging out here? Dunno.
Maybe it was aftermarket? Makes sense to check yoke has enough spline engagement...
