How do I adjust my TPS sensor?

Mine is only reading .428 wirh key in engine off.

everyone here will tell you its not adjustable. however, my truck had an adjustable one for years and it worked fine until it failed after I rebuilt the tb. You tap into the wires coming from it and turn the tps until it says a certain voltage then tighten it back down. It was a pita to get right so I just got a nonadjustable one from oreilys.

vortec tps is non adjustable just goes on one position and tighten it down
