Torsion key lift question

If i use torsion keys to lift the front of my 96 Tahoe about 2'' do i need shock extenders or shoul i be ok ?

I hope you're not wasting money on torsion bar keys. The ones already in your truck will lift the truck to the mechanical limits of the rest of the components under your truck.

I was under the impression that if I used aftermarket keys since they have more of a built in lift on them it would put less tension on the torsion bar and give me a better ride ? Im new to this so please correct me if im wrong ( here to learn )

Anytime you start cranking it's gonna ride like crap. It doesn't matter how the keys are made, you start twisting/cranking the torsion bars it's gonna more pressure on them. Has nothing to do with keys and way they are designed.
