Torsion Bar Interchange

Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere. I've been searching (here and elsewhere) and had no luck.

Will torsion bars from a GMT800 truck fit on a GMT400?

I'm having a hard time sourcing torsion bars for my '98 Tahoe 4-door .

No I don't believe so. I had 2500 t bars for a gmt400 and they wouldn't fit in my gmt800

Thanks for the info. It was a long shot on my part.

I guess I'll have to go with ones from a salvage yard.
