Mine appear to have the last digits of the part number stamped into the front end of the hex visible when installed. Rear of bar isnt visible when installed.

As Hipster called out, even on RH and odd on LH.

I wonder what option is different on yours, my 98 2 door also has z71, but has the GC bars
