I'm swapping my th700 for a 4l60e but I would like to use the torque converter that I just bought for the th700. It is a high stall Pro Torque converter and since the 4l60e came without converter, I was wondering if it would fit, any idea?

strange noises are normal
It should work fine, as long as your converter is a lockup. Its the same trans mechanically.
