Timken Wheel Hub

For my 96 K1500 I’m seeing 2 different Timken Wheel Hub #’s. SP550301 and
SP550307. Is the 301 just an older Timken number?

Not sure about your truck, but when looking hubs up for mine, some will have plastic retainers for the ABS wires, and some will have metal.... maybe that's the difference? I need metal, but when I bought an Advance Auto hub they didn't give me a choice, so I had to very carefully swap the brackets.
