Timing chain

Ok I did a 0411 swap in my 97 truck. And got crank cam relearn done run good now I took and change the timing chain cuz I had a oil leak on the cover whenever I put back together and drove down Road for first time it spit and sputter a little bit until I press on the gas a little more. Now sometimes at Cruise speed it will sputter and lock up torque converter will not kick in can stop truck shut off start back up and it might kick in and it might do the same thing it just depends just wondering has anybody else ran across this before

So you changed the chain after you had the Camshaft sensor relearned? Did you put the timing chain on correctly?
