Timing adjust help

Hello guys I was wondering what I need to adjust the timing. I know I have to disconnect the brown wire under the dash but what else from there? Thanks in advance

Yeah, most Gm's were that brown wire under pass side dash, tbi that is. Nothing else. Set timing, s/off truck, reconnect, drive

Disconnect wire, set timing, reconnect wire. Not much to it.

Right but how you set the timing? You twist the rotor? I'm kinda confused at that point it would be my first timing set ever

Yes. You turn the distributor.
