Never hold. The pressure and vibration will break the jb weld right off

I've only use a cheap flux core welder for a total of about 30 seconds, so itll probably look like crap when im finished.

OK so let me get this straight. The threaded black on the left in the pic, has broke off of the block, rite ? To fix this, you need to replicate the threaded black as close as you can, and weld it into place. For this, the block will heed to be pre heated to about 700 degrees F . You can do this by using 2 bolts to make the block with, and thread the bolt into these nuts. Then weld them into place. Or if you have access to a torch, cast iron can brazed.
