Have you thought about just putting a locker or limited slip differential in the rear end? It would save you a lot of money and still let you go where most factory 4x4's go because a lot of them don't have rear lockers. If I had a 2wd, needed off road capablity, and didn't want to get another truck that's what I would do.

i haven't heard alot about lockers here in MI. do those help with traction and how much do they go for? keep in mind that i am not looking for offroad driving but everyday icy winter driving.

mines limited slip but poses up all the time
im prolly gona go with a locker myself
if one tire is just siting there spinning ur not gona move but if uve got 2 pushing uve got a shot
