I've been using the nason 497-00 select clear...it's about 90 bucks a gallon and it looks great imo. Super high gloss and doesn't have terrible orange peel
I used the same stuff for a long time. Then I used the high image, now I'm sold on it. Granted it's twice the price, but it lays down super slick! I didn't have to do any buffing to my white 98 ecsb or my black ccsb! I guess if I was going for show quality I could, but for daily drivers they look better than most! Anyway don't wanna derail the thread! Keep up the great work!

Dont hate! At 86 dollars a gallon, im happy its all white!
I remember years ago I cried like a baby when I had to cough up $60 a gallon for DuPont Porsche India/Indian/Guards Red Lacquer... I can only imagine what a gallon goes for these days...

Ya 270 is quite a bit but the way I see it is the paint is the first thing people see and the biggest point of the truck so when time comes to painting mine I wont mind paying a little extra. Not to say the cheaper paints cant look just as good when someone knows what theyre doing

I don't think there's anything wrong with white...if anything I don't see a lot of white show cars around here
