These forums are a great source of talent and information, just bursting at the seams. The electronics in these truck are very gard for me to grasp. But i am slowly, very slowly learning.

Take a long bolt, over 6" long and machine the head to JUST slide into the pipe. then weld near the end of pipe, quickly cover with your leather gloves and apron so it cools very slowly. If you have any, put into a bucket of lime over night. The cut and sculpt the angle iron to make the attachment point. The rest is pretty basic from the previous photos. The upward brace goes right up to the bed mount for resistance to twisting. Simply fits into the hole up there.
