Temp Probe issues

Hey guys, I recently installed a compass/temp mirror which was working great, but then shortly after I installed a overhead console with a Astro Van DIC, I used the same temp sensor for both the mirror and DIC. Seems they are reading wrong now? Does having the wire hooked up to the same probe screw the reading? Bad sensor?

I noticed the same thing in my 96 when I added the compass/temp mirror AND a DIC. I actually ran two different sensors. One for the exterior (mirror) and one on the interior (dic).

For some reason, when paired together with only one sensor it causes issues.
