hey everyone, new to the suv scene, i am up near Seattle. i have a 2000 tahoe limited and cant wait to do a few things to her. ive got a few things in mind, such as a nice drop kit, and 20's possibly 22's. thing is, such a pain in the ass finding 5x5 (5x127) wheels! weird lug pattern, i know i can convert or get adapters. first question is this.. while im waiting for the wheels to fall out of the sky into my lap, how low can i go running stock setup? currently has 25570R16 all around. im in contact with one shop that wants to do a 5/6 drop, and said i need at least a 17" to clear once its dropped. is this correct?
well i hope to get some good feedback, ill post pics of her in the am.

the kit has 3" springs and 2" spindles in the front, and the rear 2" shackle and 2" hanger, shocks all around. as i said before, im new to this whole scene.. my experience lies with subaru wagons and nissan (skyline, gtr etc..).
thanks!

With drop spindles you have to trim the lower control arm to fit 15" wheels not sure about 16's though

What wheels are you wanting that you can't find in 5x5? That's only the most popular 5 lug pattern ever...

Great to see a limited hoe. This group here is definitely a good one. We should be able to help with anything you need to know.
