sun visor swings out

so my dumb sun visors are starting to swing out. they don't open and flap down but they just swing out freely. anyone know what the problem is here?

I know they're adjustable but I'm not sure how to do it. My buddy fixed his in just a few minutes but i was working on something else at the time so i didnt see how he did it. Hopefully someone will chime in with an answer.

I know older ones have a spring loaded nut, maybe nylon threaded. You would have to remove the visor and check the guts to see if it needs to be tightened...
