stock vortec injection?

Will the stock vortec injection work with the engine in my sig. Im putting it together tomorrow and want to know if i need to find another way to fuel it. And will i be able to break it in without a tune?

The motor isnt in the truck yet, im building it this week.

Yeah it'll run it but your gonna max it out and not get the full potential out of your that engine. Carb swap or major efi overhaul.

I hope not. Not really in the budget right now, does anyone have any links to 383 builds using stock vortec intake?

your biggest problem will be getting it tuned for that cam,hopefully you did some head work and valve springs for that cam and the 1.6rrs your looking at around .600 valve lift.never seen anyone run that big of a cam in a l31.with a stock intake.

The heads have been machined and they have the recommended springs for that cam.
