Stock 454 exhaust advice

I am looking for some advice / opinions. I have a 2000 K2500 with stock 454. What exhaust should I run. Should I leave the cats in plave or remove them?

Leave the cats there. You need backpressure in your exhaust design to maintain the best exhaust velocity. Cats are good for that and they are illegal to remove under federal law. If you want, get some high flow cats there. Not to mention that but our trucks have 02 sensors downstream of the cats. So, if you remove them, you will have engine codes and your truck won't run right unless you get 02 simulators and get your truck custom tuned.

Cats are in no way an impediment to a good performance strategy.

Should I go with a dual in/out or to separate mufflers. I was planning on goin w magnaflow. The shop im using said they also had a Maxflow brand that was the same as magnaflow but a lil cheaper.
