I've considered shaving the steps on my 88 but not installing a roll pan, instead section a factory bumper down.... not sure on the look with 4wd though.
Would look good imo. I like the idea of the sectioned bumper

I've considered a smooth roll pan and using an s10 bumper from the late 90's. it would keep it clean behind the bumper with the roll pan on there.

Has anyone ever installed this on a daily and have it hold up? I thought the beds were SMC and the fiberglass didn't get along with it?
