Steering slack

I talked to Steer and Gear in Columbus,OH. They rebuild the steering boxes, and can make them into a quicker ratio. I was quoted around $280 for my 3500. No shipping, dropped off, and picked back up

I finished the job it wasn’t 5 minutes tho more like a hour and a half. Shaft didn’t wanna collapse and I had to
Drill the old rivets out. Got it done tho and I have very little Slack now

Im also in the process of check why I have to much play on my steering. Took it to the mechanic and told me it’s fine. Haha
I didn’t know that too much play on steering wheels was good. Lol

Def check the rag joint it helped me tremendously. Also check ur front end parts or ur gear box I’ve replaced everything but my box and it’s almost perfect
