Steering shaft 2WD to 4WD

i have owned 3 different 2wd's, and currently have 2. all had a rag joint...

I stand corrected, just went and looked at my 1996 C1500, appears to not have a Rag joint.

It does, it's at the steering box end, it should have a plastic cover over it that's snapped together an also clipped onto the lines to keep it from rotating....

I know the shaft pictured isn't going to work with a Gmt400 steering column. The end opposite the universal isn't right an won't connect to the column...

And I think you have the wrong shaft pictured?
