steering problems

if this isnt the right place to post this than please let me know, my truck is still stock and every now and then when im pulling out the drive way the steering gets really hard for a few seconds then almost like breaks free and is back to normal. i checked my power steering fluid and it was full so i have no idea what to do. any one now what might be causing this

It would be a big help if you gave some info on what truck you are having issues with...

Maybe the steering needs bled. Easy as pie to do. Do a search for "bleeding power steering" and you'll find plenty of write ups. Kinda sounds like the symptoms of having air in the system. Worth a try for how easy it is.
