Clock springs are for air bag equiped trucks/vehicles.

FWIW... I replaced both the cam and the base thats mounted underneath, an it still wouldn't cancel my left signal. No problem with the right cancel. I tried moving the base around but no luck.
If I put just the smallest amount of pressure on the turn stalk, it would work, but that was the only way it worked.
I finally ended up putting a very thin layer(less than 1/16") of JB Weld on top of the cam hump and that did the trick.
