So by simply unplugging it, that should stop the weird jerk when turning? Also just incase I'm misunderstanding unplugging it will not hurt the steering operation correct? also if I read the above replies correctly once unplugged it turns more easily correct? Or did I get that backwards?

I'm thinking about just unplugging it on both trucks if there is no negative side effect of it.

yes that is the main reason why we unplug it! it will not harm anything, just remember it will be at full boost all the time and i hate it but its better then a sudden jerk while im in a turn.....

They do offer a kit that installs behind the PS pump that will lower the pressure.... i will try to find the link........

might not be the right kit but you get the idea......

Truth! After a week or so of driving with the SSS unplugged, my driving had unconsciously compensated for the new feel. Made a big dif., without any ill effects! Never knew about the pressure reduction kit, though.

Ok, that is what I thought you guys were getting at, was just asking to be sure. Looks like I'll be unplugging mine. I honestly prefer sensitive steering to sluggish slow steering. I'm surprised keeping it at full boost constantly doesn't have any adverse effects on the pump long term.

The pump is a high flow unit to begin with, so it's really just doing its job . I wouldn't worry to much about it.
