Steel wheels/paint removal

I don't have paint OR tires at the moment... I have a dry place to put them. I can also WD40 them and bag each one until I get my $#!+ together for the painting phase.
I think I'll see what I want to do about the little bit of rust you see on them before that happens.

This product will remove rust and will leave the bare metal protected until you are ready to paint. I have had good luck with it, the bed of my 51 project has been left bare for years and is only beginning to show light surface rust in a couple places.

Yes, I was going to mention this too. I bought a gal. for my son from HD. This stuff is extremely caustic, be very careful.

Cleaning the wheels took very little scrubbing effort. But paint removal was honestly spray on/hose off to get to this point. From last photo, I coated the wheel face one more time, posted last post and didn't touch it till about 30 minutes ago. About 14 hours.
Pleasantly surprised.

Looks good. I had same results using Easy Off. Name kinda fits huh?
