How much paint do i need to repaint my truck.

I have a long bed single cab. Wanting to repaint it a similar light metallic blue color. The cab and bed will be metallic blue but the fenders and hood would be primered white. Would 1 gallon of paint and clearcoat be enough. Im assuming with the added reducer it would be a gallon and a half of paint. Should i put 3 coats of clear on to make it easier to buff and extra paint protection? Im going to be spraying out of a 15 dollar harbor freight gun.

Also will not be painting door jambs or the interior of the bed.

It probably varies widely with how experienced you are and what equipment you're using to paint. I usually gauge what I need with how much primer I use, it's cheap to buy and easy to get.
