Dang sorry to hear that it Greg hope it's just wires, an just a heads up to anyone else when you pull/put on a new starter watch out for the knock sensor lol!! (don't ask me how I know lol)

ya i found that out too. i also learned ther is a differnt starter for the z71 package trucks. it has a shorter armeture.
