Another vote for Bilsteins. You can find them on Ebay for a good price.

5100s seem to be the economical choice, but it all depends on your application.

For my .02 I just picked up edelbrock shocks on sale from summit, for the $30 a pop I figured they were worth a try. the valving is a little stiff for my taste, but they work very well. the OEM shocks I removed where very soft on up-travel, but fairly firm on rebound, these are pretty firm both ways.

Go to Bilestein's web site and find the shocks specific to your truck. Then go to ebay and look around. I found a site that sold all 4 of mine as a set and had a great price too.

can everybody post their lift setup and Bilstein part number used?

I am having a hard time choosing shocks for my 97 Tahoe (2dr) with 1 3/4" front crank and 2" AAL in the rear.

Would love to have the Bilstein equivalent of the RoughCountry 2 - 3.5" (part numbers Front 8102 Rear 8135)
