Here are the diagnostics for P1345. Check first to see if the CMP offset is between -2 and 2 degrees at around 1100-rpm. Loosen the distributor hold down clamp and turn the distributor until it is within spec.

Here is the diagnostic for P0171. These are all for a 1998 K1500 with the 350.

I would normally never bother or have the patience with those legit problem solving steps, but at this point?

That may be my only salvation. Next day off in a week I'll take a crack at it in its entirety. Thank you. And wish me luck.

Did you ever find the culprit that was throwing those p0171 & 0174 codes?

I had the same issue with mine after I changed the tranny. Come to find out I pinched a wire on the bell housing on the back of the block. So I had to cut it and splice it back together and all is back to normal.... I hope this helps.

Found my issue over the weekend. Previous owner had been into the intake(looks like lower manifold gaskets replaced). Whomever did the repair neglected to put the rear bolt back in on the upper intake plenum (the one under the fuel lines). Popped in an extra bolt I had laying around, good to go. No more ses code and no more off idle stumble. Used water, alcohol, brakleen, nothing would pull into the leaky spot, and the suction sound was so brief, I could not find it via hearing. Got lucky with a thorough visual inspection.
