Removing old harness during swap

Anyone removed the stock engine harness/computer ect while swapping to an LS motor? If so, was there anything that shouldn't have been removed? I want to get rid of the stock harness completely when I swap my truck. It's a 93 4.3.

I started to do that but ended up paring it down at the firewall instead. Still haven't found my AC wires......
