Remove center leaf and keep over load

I have 2" drop shackles and want to go lower but not to where I need to cnotch it.
If I remove the center leaf and keep the over load spring will it lower the rear any?

Truck is a 98 v6 extended cab

Removing a leaf will lower it quite a bit and make the back end sloppy and squishy over bumps. Will slam the frame to axle if anything is in bed.
