i have a 1998 k1500 with stock 3.42 gears and a 14 bolt rear with 33s currently. Instead of doing a solid axle swap since I don’t do that much crazy off-roading i want to just regear to be able to run 35s. I have a 3 inch body lift and previously tried to run 35s so i have the fenders and bumper trimmed but my truck became a dog because of the gearing. I’m looking into this kit below with 4.11s. If anyone has and tips or input feel free. Thank you

My input is, 4.11's aren't enough for 35's, I would get, at a minimum, 4.56's. The difference in RPM at 70 mph is only about 200.

nitro gear's are good quality though, I have them in my FJ40

4.56s and 35s are fine. But don't over expect the results. They are fine if you are expecting near stock results - from experience, if you want a more performance outcome, go with 4.88s or 5.13s.
I have 35s, 4.56s, Intake, Headers, Exhaust, and a tune from (100% torque management removed), and I am not impressed by any means. I do have a old tired engine and tranny though, so I am sure that doesn't help.

If you do alot of highway driving, might consider 4.11's. If you tow/haul anything at all, 4.56's.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll look into 4.56s at the least maybe. I do have an intake and dual exhaust. The most I've hauled in either my atv in the bed or a couple of atvs on my friends trailer. I mostly do around town driving but with school and maybe a new job I'll be doing some highway also
