Get a 34/78 battery and switch over to top posts. I'm in the process of doing it myself. Once I replace the positive cable with a bigger, longer one, I'll be good to goI’m thinking since this was stripped out, I definitely wasn’t getting a good ground at battery. I noticed it felt funny last week when tightening, but thought it was stripping a little at head with socket.

These clamps will accommodate bigger wires too. Right now I have 4ga going to them.

that ground could something to do with it. It's hard to tell without being right there.Ok, did all that and it remote started fine. Any idea why that happened?
Well I can only say after starting truck, pressing and holding valet button it did function normally. It was after that I noticed stripped ground stud. I googled “causes of starters remaining engaged” and a few replies said a bad ground. Either way, fixing that ground was needed. Anything you can think of to further test this?that ground could something to do with it. It's hard to tell without being right there.
