Rear park brake assistance

For anyone who has put late 70's ford axles into their gmt400's (specifically dana 60's.) For the rear park brake, were you able to re-use the factory gm cables and adapt them to the D60 or are there off the shelf parts that you know of that will fit. Normally I wouldn't care but Massachusetts requires park brake to be function and hold under force to pass safety inspection.

To add, I went to my local parts counter to compare parts, they did not have the Dana 60 rear cables in stock and my axles did not come with cables at all.
