Quick body lift question

What's is everyone doing with their gooseneck
hitches when they add a 3" bl?

Dont think anyones runnin a gooseneck with a body lift

I wouldn't think it would work without some sort of custom raised ball. The raised ball, would however drop your max weight ability of the trailer down a bit...

That's kinda what I was thinking. Unless maybe made the plate
thicker and raised it the same and really beefed it up.

Hmm I can let you know when I get my 3" body lift from summit, its in transit. I have my goose neck up for sale, but I have been thinking about raising it up and welding support gussets to the frame.

I don't even have a gooseneck trailer yet.
Hitch was already on when I bought the truck.
Just was wondering because I'd like to get a trailer
in the near future.
