ill drain it first thing tomorrow. have to wait till thursday for that tranny jack tho. read somewhere else that getting 2 longer bolts/threaded rods for the top two holes will help guide it in easier.

late update but after a lot of grunting and bit**ing i got it in. Would have been done a long time ago if i had reliable friends lol. cant exactly ask the wife to come out and hold this tranny while i put these bolts in ahaha. I'll probably never do another trans w/o a trans jack tho. it made lining up those splines a TON easier. got it all back in and its running great other than my dumb self not realizing this thing had a diff shift pattern than most vehicles. i have a L range where 1st usually is. Threw me off when i was driving it through the yard and the tranny was whinning at like 8mph lol
