Some old pics of my 1988 GMC Sierra Stepside, A clean 1 owner California truck I bought back in 2000 with about 100K for $1200.00. I ending up having to sell it 6 years back because the City of Chicago (where i live) required me to purchase an additional $250.00 per year tag to park a "B" plate truck on a residential street you see in the photo. This was in addition to the $100.00 per year vehicle sticker too. At the time my garage was filled with other vehicles so the CPD kept giving me $50.00 tickets.... TALK ABOUT TYRANNY!!! I tried to buy a camper top for it so I could get "RV" plates to avoid this issue. but they were impossible to find used. So that forced me to sell it. The guy who bought told me that he was moving it down to Mexico. I sure do miss it...
