I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado k1500 with a 5.7 liter and a 4l60e transmission. My check engine light was flickering when I purchases the truck. I found out I only had 2nd and 3rd gear in my tranny. When i put my truck in drive it started out in 3rd so I figured it was in limp mode. Welly fix for it was a new prom chip. I purchased one off eBay with the same code and it cured my check engine light and my running problems. If your truck is throwing a bunch of codes and not running right consider a PCM or prom chip.
