So I was diagnosing why my radio signal went out. Undid my amp, seemed fine. Then I started undoing my face plate and unbolting the radio. At one point I turned the radio on for the hell of it and somehow magically it was working again. Ok? cool I'm gunna button everything back up but I notice this plug behind the cargo light. So I thought oh ok my cargo light isnt plugged in, hmm maybe thats why its never worked. Go to put this black plug on and it started smoking so I stopped. So is that connection just bad and previous owner left it unplugged ? How would y'all investigate the short?
