It'll be fine, as long as it doesn't have a bazillion miles on it. And depending on your driving style.
LOW4x4 is using an NV3500 behind a pressurized SBC pushing over 400hp. Although I don't think he's banging 7000rpm power shifts with it!

I'm planing on 450-500hp. I wouldn't mind a 3500, but I heard from my friend that they are weak.

Well...weaker than the 4500. And, apparently a heck of a lot more work to rebuild, too. That, = more dinéro when they do go boom!
