Hey everyone. I’m new here. Had the account for a few years but never posted anything. I’m in Vermont, and this is my 98 k1500 that I’ve been building for the last 3 years. So far I’ve Nv4500 swapped it, lifted it 4” and installed some massive springs in the rear. I plan to use the truck as a all around daily/ work truck that I can bring to the truck pulls and have fun with. Any recommendations as far as pulling goes? Right now it has the factory 14 bolt rear with 3:42’s, the Nv4500 and a bone stock vortec 350 with long tubes and 2.5” true dual exhaust

The 3.42s are gonna be one of the weak points here, especially with your taller-than-stock tires. Swap in some 4.10s or 4.56s. I'm assuming since you have the 14 bolt rear axle, you probably have an aux trans cooler, but if not, I'd install one just for the sake of helping the 4L60E last a little longer and help the trans stay at safe temps when towing.

I did the ultimate swap… I junked the 4l60 and went with the Nv4500
