Hi, I'm Mike from SoCal. Been lurking for awhile and decided to join. I have a 1997 Silverado with a 5.7. I bought it from the original owner about a year and a half ago. He was retired when he bought it, and it had 70k on it when I bought it. It now has about 77k. So far I've replaced the shocks, tires (it came with the wheels) and stereo.

Thanks. I'll admit it does look better in photos. The top of the cab, top of the doors, and hood have the usual clear coat failure.
