Hello all!

I'm Norm. I bought a 1995 Chevy C1500 RCSB, my son has it now in his possession in Iowa. I work overseas in an undisclosed location, so he is going to rebuild the brakes, lower and rebuild the suspension, get the rusted panels replaced and get it ready for me for next year. It's my 4th GMT400, I've had a 1990 Chevy K1500 5.7/5 speed, 1998 GMC K1500 Z71 5.7/auto and the third a 1999 Chevy K1500 Tahoe 5.7/auto. So you can say I really dig the body style of these obs trucks.

First things on the to do list;
Stainless brake lines and rebuild all brakes (Iowa is horrible for rust issues)
UCA and LCA replaced, new inner and outer tie rods
Western Chassis 2" dropped spindles, 3" springs, BellTech flip kit, C notch and shocks and Caltracs for traction control So it should be a 5/6 drop
Then rust repair, front passenger fender, cab corners, and rockers

That's the main projects, might have some more after we get those done

Welcome!
Install some urethane bushings in those control arms when you replace them. They'll help a lot.
Cheaper to buy a complete urethane kit.
