Thanks guys. Both the chevelle and the c10 are projects. Ive had the chevelle since i was 15. me and my dad got it and built it 10 years ago and i daily drove it for 5 years. It just recently just got new quarter skins and new fenders and is getting painted this winter. It is a numbers match ss 396 car. The original drivetrain is wrapped up in storage and currently has a 11:1 fuel injected 454 with 4L80e 12 bolt 3.31 posi rear end, BMR tubular Suspension and 16x8 ZQ8 wheels. And will be replacing the factory air with vintage air when its stripped for paint.
also in the works building a 540ci tall deck motor with an 8-71 blower. Ill probably end up putting the blower on the 454 with a head change before this time next year but who knows. Ive been selling all my rat motor stuff lately to try and build that 540.

The c10 is a project me and my brother are building. Its 5.3l l33 and 4l60e and might be getting a pair of turbos after its running. Powdercoated frame and vintage air.

Welcome to the forum!
You've got two things I'm dreaming of owning one day, a bad-ass Chevelle and a OBS CCSB.

Diggin all your projects though! The Supra and RX7 don't do too much for me, but interesting nonetheless!

That C10 on the other hand,

ever since i first seen a crew cab short bed in the obs body ive always wanted one. I wanted it so bad I think i over payed for it. I gave $2500 for pretty much a roached out bad motor, slipping transmission turd with over 300K on it. And come to find out it doesnt have the correct transfercase either. it has a np243 behind a 4l80 when it should have the np263. Ive already stripped out the complete interior cleaned the nasty seats and put in new carpet. Still a ways to go but im making progress and will be selling my 96 z71 when the CC is done.

3.31's & an 80e? Highway hauler!
3.55's & a stick in my BBC Nova & it wasn't up on the cam, timing in, secondaries opening till about 30mph. 1st was 60mph @ about R/L.
2nd was when things started to get going. Good till just over 90.
Once got a ticket for 134.8mph. (217kmh.)
Well maybe, just a bit more than a ticket! Ooops!

yep decent on the highway but i got 26" tall tires also so that makes it a little better. still an 11 second ride tho that will go around corners fast enough you cant keep yourself in the seat.
