Hey all, after 10 years of ownership i've found a new found love for this truck. Slowing bring life back into it fixing all the small broken annoying items (door pins, door handles, seats ect..)
There is some very good information on this site about the 5.7 and it's pro's/cons. Looking forward to learning more also.
The engine has 235,000 miles as does the trans. 2nd owner, driveline and engine meticulously maintained to the best of my ability..
It's had two intake gaskets over the past 10 years. First was around 205k if I remember, second was just at 235k.
If it happens again, it's getting an LS swap.
